BharatCaller FAQs

BharatCaller is not showing names. What should I do?

Check that BharatCaller is set as your Caller ID app and is allowed to show over other apps. Some phones also stop apps running in the background: open Phone settings, find your phone brand and follow the steps there.

I am still facing issues. What should I do?

Write to support@bharatcallerapp.com with your phone number, and our team will call you back.

Is BharatCaller an Indian app?

Yes. BharatCaller is made in India by KickHead Softwares Pvt. Ltd., winner of the National Startup Awards 2020, Government of India.

Does BharatCaller steal my data?

No. We never sell your data, and BharatCaller does not ask for SMS permission.

To name callers for everyone, BharatCaller uses community contribution, which is on by default. While it is on, the app sends the numbers and names saved in your contacts, including the name you saved for a number when you call it or it calls you. It does not send email addresses, postal addresses or notes. Those names may be shown to other BharatCaller users as caller names, but never who saved them.

You can stop contributing at any time in Settings → Caller data contribution. Your personal information is not transferred outside India. The privacy policy explains exactly what is shared and why.

Is BharatCaller secure?

We protect your information with physical, electronic and procedural safeguards. It is stored on secured servers in India, and access is limited to a few authorized people. No way of storing or sending data over the internet is 100% secure, so read more on our data security page.

Is BharatCaller free?

Yes. BharatCaller is free, with ads.

How do I delete my account?

From Settings in the app, or on our delete account page.
